D70624 & D70524 met in Williamston at 04:55 this morning. Same power on both trains as yesterday but in reverse. East of Lansing, 706 had 38 cars, 705 had 65 cars. 705 would have had about the same car count as 706 if they did not have the same 28 ash cars 706 had on Saturday. Today all 28 were in a row, Saturday there was seven tank cars between the two groups of 14. 705s DPU was on the rear again this morning.

Today is my bride's 75th birthday and we are both proud of it. Read her details of every birthday in our 57 years together from my daily journal, something I had not done before but did today. The things you forget is immense until you are reminded.
