Yes, CN 8898 is the “Canadian National 25th Anniversary IPO” heritage unit.

116 is passing MP 22.5 at 4:12 pm on Main 1 with racks followed by containers. Long train. I think it had two 8800/8900's as power.
It had a rolling meet with returning NB 515 out back on Main 2.

Re: CN Updates: November 2022
Passing MP 22.5 at 5 pm. Long trip from Milwaukee Junction. The IPO unit is disappointing, just a patch.
I didn't invest in Conrail when it went public and was sorry I didn't. So when CN went public I decided to (lighting striking twice thing). I bought 100 shares of CN stock on its first day at around $20 a share. After stock splits and a few years I sold it at a very good profit. My only wise investment ever.

Re: CN Updates: November 2022
LansingRailfan, are these five ex BNSF CN C40-8Ws coming through Royal Oak again tonight (11-2)? Will these be combined on train L506 with the five other "Dead" locos (CN 2454/BCOL 4612/IC 2460/CN 2156/CN 2177) from yesterday? Or did those already go to Toledo? When will 508 depart from Flat Rock headed to Toledo with hopefully all 10 "Dead" locos? They will all go to Lang Yard! Maybe easy access for photos? Now, I will have a chance to go out Friday morning to Flat Rock area (or Sat. with a 'Railfan' to Toledo)! I want to see the ones with the IC "Blue Devil" and "Cowls!!!!" Where are they and does anyone know the time they'll depart for the last time?LansingRailFan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 2:13 pmAlso, copied right from LG Gibson:
