(Repost from RYPN)
Hi there, does anybody know if any other equipment aside from American Aggregates 640 (C&LE 640) has been preserved or is still kicking around?(or any other information?) The only place I can manage to really scrape up some info on the super niche operation is either on the Dons Depot page, small snippets in TheDieselShop, or the Northeast railfan list which has a bunch more photos of the AA roster. Given some of the equipment which was built around the 30’s and 40’s lasted almost/into the 80’s I’d think there’s a good chance something still has to be around other than an Interurban car.
-Thanks in advance

Preserved American Aggregates Equipment.
Re: Preserved American Aggregates Equipment.
I took a picture of the AmerAgg that was at South Lyon in the '90's, long after the pit closed. it was sitting by itself, vandalized. Maybe a year or two later, I saw a crew cutting it up on-site. i'm pretty sure I posted on here, under a whatsis heading. It was maybe a quarter mile from where Peaker Services is today.
The one I'm referring to is the one from the diesel shop by rcraig
no i.d. or makers marks. IIRC it had a Case prime mover.

I looked through your post history to see if i could find the photo of the vandalized custom AA Switcher but couldn't find it. Would you be willing to upload it again if you still have the photo?
