I presume it will run tonight after dark, but there is an empty unit grain train at Burns Harbor for the Amtrak Michigan Line at Decatur. It's got the tell-tale road power sandwiched between two of the ITCS-equipped GP60s.
Per friend: 350 has something foreign leading it, I don’t believe that, but yet it lost an hour and 50 minutes on the Michigan line which doesn’t have any freights running today, so it may be plausible. As of 4:00 it was reported by the CP FERN signal Mp8.7.
Yet another trespasser strike in the Ann Arbor area tonight.....355 was the train involved....and with 352 already running late enough that they were held at Lake for the meet with 355, lots of unhappy passengers tonight
3rd pedestrian strike this week for Amtrak. Per Facebook 351 hit someone west of Dowaginac. All Michigan Services were delayed because of this incident.

Good lord, at this point someone from the railroad needs to go to the news stations and say stop, maybe us railfans can do something about it, it’s SO infuriating.
What I don't understand is why 350 and 365 were held. The accident occurred just about at Dowagiac station and the trains could have gotten by 351 on the controlled siding - unless because of 351's high speed, the train came to a stop past CP 180.

Maybe the incident scene spanned both tracks? Or personnel were using both tracks? Why is the train more important than the first responders? Blue and Red Lives Matter too man, not just trains. Sheesh.

I don’t really think this has to do with first responders being in the way or red and blue lives.. just wondering why the trains couldn’t pass. Generally if this happens in double track/ siding a block will be put on the the incident is investigated. No real reason to go at the poster as I don’t believe there was any intent to say just run trains no matter what.

4601 parked at end of Pontiac station track. No consist. Why do they park the spare engine there?

#3 the Southwest Chief apparently went buns up either before or just after departure, and based on the GPS they switched out their consists. Showing service disruption and at LEAST 5 hours late to Naperville, but they haven't actually departed Union Station yet.
