GTW Spring Lake bridge

Unread post by EWRice »

I am trying to track down photos of the signals located on either side of the GTW swing bridge, over Spring Lake channel, while in service. The East side signal is on display in front of PM 1223 in Grand Haven but I really would like pictures in service. Either the original configuration or the cobled together signal that finnished out service there. Any info on when the signals were changed would be appreciated too.

That's a neat picture. I didn't know that bridge was a girder style one, I figured it was a through-truss like the other one over the main body of the Grand River.

Cdressel,
I have a series of 3 photos, including that one, but none showing the signals for the bridge.
