Ok guys, someone recently posted a new GMC that was custom ordered. I can't find the post now and wanted to ask a few questions. Hmmnn.. who was that?

That would be me and my Silverado Z-71 LTZ Midnight Edition crew cab. And with my wife's pearl-white Suburban, my kids call them "Salt & Pepper"

Share your railfan vehicle

I thought it'd be pretty cool for everyone to share a picture of their railfan-mobile or whatever you want to call it, here's mine:

I still have my permit BUT I have intentions to take my road test in the next week or two, So for my birthday, my parents gave me my mom's old 2011 GMC Terrain, It's the SLT package and it does have over 100k miles but it is still VERY reliable, It has a Vortec 3.6 Liter V6 that puts out 261 horses. I've already ordered some new speakers for the stereo, LED Headlights and blacked out LED tailights, and also a CB radio (sort of what Danny Harmon/Railfan Rowan uses). Here's a picture I shot of it this morning in my driveway.

Very nice. Are you going to put a sticker on the back that says, "Caution, Railfan driver. Stops and turns without warning"
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

I went through the CB radio phase back in the late 80s/early 90s. It did save me a few times from speeding tickets on cross country trips, but other than that, using it was mostly just for fun.

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.
