Anyone on here a boat nerd?

Curious if any of our fellow Railroadfan...fan members on here are also boat nerds like myself. Love to have some more boat buddies to chat with!

That's a 10-4. Check Boatnerd.com every day a few times.

I've been regularly photographing for a while now. Usually along the Detroit and St. Clair River.

I think you will find that many rail fans are also boat nerds.

Ay matey! I worked for several years as a deckhand on tour boats on the Detroit River and spent quite a bit of time on the lower Rouge as well. Now I catch them at West Michigan/Lake Michigan ports from time to time. Not as often as I’d like!

More and more. I installed the Boat Watch app on my Android phone (free) and use it all the time while watching ships pass at my family's lake house on Lake Huron.

I got MarineTraffic on my phone and check it almost daily. Its nice to be able to mix up the GEVO's with a freighter here and there.

Here's a good site for boat nerds. It's a Facebook site for the Cason J Calloway laker. The guy works on the boat as a helmsman, and answers questions and posts pictures of their trips and lake conditions.
