7:57 EST: Jochs east, clearing the crossing at Coloma Road in Coloma, headed to work

Sound about right?
No...I live south of Coloma, and over 99 percent of the time do not cross the tracks on my way to work, which is also located on the south side of the tracks on Bessemer Rd.

Jochs did you really get a high score on Space Invaders? What was it?
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

3510. I can get higher, around 5000. I'm sort of good at it but nowhere near the World Record set by Richie Knucklez. 110,510.

One of these weekends I'll make it there! Gotta play that Stargate machine just like old times.

I scared our one and only Jochs today as he was taking pictures of St. Joseph during the power outage. I scared him when I recognized him, but he didn't know who
I was.

I was wondering who would recognize me in the dark!
I might also add posting that I was seen within 10 miles of my home is a little redundant...that's like going to Lake Michigan and posting that you saw water!

Even if the sighting within the normal roaming range of Jochs would ordinarily make this ineligible for this thread, the fact that a random follower that had never met said rail fan recognized him in the dark, in the middle of the largest blackout to hit St. Josrph in over a year based solely on seeing his picture online makes it count.

Ran into Jochs and brother in Logansport, Indiana this afternoon. Jochs and brother arrived just in time to see 765 cross the diamond. Brother cropped out of photo per his request.

This was in Logansport, IN. The plan was to set up my tripod and shoot a video with my Nikon D3100, while taking photos with my older Nikon D50. I didn't get parked and over to the diamond in time to set up, so I wound up taking a video of the train crossing the diamond free hand, so the video isn't as steady as I would have liked it, but a slighty shaky video is better than none at all. :)

This is from Facebook. Some day I'll upload some to youtube.
That is why, in GreatLakesRailfan's photo, I am holding the camera in front of my eyes (taking video) while another camera is strapped to my shoulder. (I have a Canon Rebel 35mm film camera at home with about 17 pics left on a roll that I started in Jan 2011....I don't use it anymore, or I'd have had 3 and looked like one of THOSE foamers...lolz)
