So Corunna is not correct. AARR is on the right track though, thinking it's from a recent bike ride.

It was a lucky guess. Corunna and Carland were my first choices. I picked Ovid because I knew ~Z~ biked there recently.

The above shot is looking west from Mill Street, Final run of the remaining old GTW RR passenger trains 22/57 between Durand and Muskegon, was made on October 1, 1960.

I can still remember watching an Ann Arbor RS-1 switch that elevator back in the early 60's. Looks like switching it now would be pretty impossible!

Even into the early 1990's they were loading box cars with bagged beans. And IIRC there was a small fertilizer transload here into the 2000's.

Yes indeed! North Star on the old Annie RR now GLC Final run of the old AA RR remaining passenger train between Toledo, OH and Boat Landing/Elberta, was made on July 19, 1950.
