One of the Great Lakes is in the background.
There is a road between the tracks and the marina that is on Google street view.

Not Monroe, Michigan. Specifying the state would make it too easy

Along the south shore of Lake Erie or Lake Michigan? Or better guess Michigan City, IN?

Not Michigan City, but Lake Michigan or Erie is the right lake.

Not Michigan, but specifying the state will give it away.

Its in Wisconsin, Illinois or Indiana all along the shore of Lake Michigan. Or in Ohio, Pennsylvania or New York State all along the shore of Lake Erie.

No, the state shares a border with Michigan.

CRD, you could give the state and I still will probably not find the location.

I can find lots of railroad tracks. I can find lots of marinas. Even found a few marinas near railroad tracks.
But can't find this location. How far in the background is the Great Lake?

A Google search for Marinas in one of the cities mentioned that Amtrak stops in that has tracks next to it might help with luck.

Not in Illinois, which does not share a border with Michigan. More specifically, not a Continental border.

The water pictured can be referred to as a bay as well as part of the Great Lake.

So...it's Cedar Point?

That was a good one. The Cedar Point and Lake Erie railroad. Never would have thought of that.
