Took me about 5 minutes. Searched google maps for "chicago metal" and just poked around for a few.
3724 S Rockwell St, CHicago IL.

Any ideas how this piece of trackage was used? Almost looks like it went into the building to the west, but hard to tell. Maybe was there before one of the buildings were built, or connected through the building and out to the railroad to the north?

Indeed correct! Chicago Steel is on east side of S. Rockwell Street south of CN RR formerly GM&O RR, Amtrak Lincoln Service, Texas Eagle currently run on CN trackage.
