Wow, that was a lucky catch for that railfan. I agree with Steve and Frank, I thought it would be alot louder. "We have alittle problem"! :lol:

I would say he was zoomed in a bit and that might be why it's not that loud.

A lucky catch indeed. And when something just drops off the rail and rides the ties for a short distance, I wouldn't expect it to be particularly noisy. OTOH, if several cars were involved in an 'accordion fold' I would expect noise, and wouldn't want to be within 100 yards.
