One of the many trains we saw while waiting for the eclipse just happened to pass as totality was beginning. One of the coolest moments of my time railfanning, hands down.

I didn’t film the whole train so I could watch the eclipse for a bit, I did throw in a clip from my snapchat story, which got a great view as totality was happening.

We (Me, Saturnalia and another railfan) were standing in between the southeast wye and the Toledo subdivision RoW’s. I only did that for this train, I was gonna be shocked if the crew had an issue with it, and they clearly didn’t.
