Monday 11/16

Huron & Eastern 800 working towards Saginaw at Towerline Rd.

In Grayling, the LSRC 1171 sits at LC Redi in between Jobs 393 & 394.

Tuesday 11/17

The 393 Job switches Weyerhaeuser

They added the 1171 to their consist and then shoved across 4 Mile Rd to AJD.

Later, they returned to the "Terminal" lite, then continued switching.

The 394 Job ran north to Gaylord after dark.

Thursday 11/19

393 takes a Unit Ballast Train across 4 Mile Rd to dump ballast in the new yard. Ballast work was being performed between Grayling and Gaylord.

After picking up 3 empty Centerbeams, 393 passes the Grayling Depot.

The first ballast car was dumped just south of M-72, concluding removal of the old yard.

Thank you for posting CRD. Great pictures and reporting. Appreciate the update about the new Grayling Yard.

Did you happen to catch any action at the new plywood plant?
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

THANK YOU for the GREAT pics of the new LSRC trackage and movements up north!! Was wondering when somebody somewhere would show some. The new yard is just to the north of 4 Mile Road--correct?? Any idea how many tracks go into the new plant?? Thanks again---all you guys have a good---and safe Thanksgiving!

Box cars would make sense. However, according to the LSRC newsletter they acquired 30 bulk head flat cars for service at Arauco. That surprised me as I thought they would go with box cars (like you saw) or center beams.
