Future Cement Business Livingston

Unread post by Tom49801 »

From a conversation heard today between L301-10 & the RN Dispatcher, L301 has 8 cars of ties to be setoff in the old Sand Plant spur mp CG97.7 off of Livingston Siding (west of St Joseph, Mi) for track work to begin there in May for a new business that will be receiving Fly Ash & Cement powder. Has anyone heard what company this will be? Looks like L301 will be getting a new customer on his route.

Heard that the old sand plant was being reactivated, that's good to hear its actually moving forward. D700 used to be a 3 man job because of all of the switching they would do at Livingston sand!

Actually WEST of ST. Joe last time I worked the jobs down there...but close enough for railroad work.
