Michigan Railroad Club

Next meeting of The Michigan Railroad Club will be Wednesday, February 01, 2023. Program will be by John Ryan. The main feature: Superior – Rails across the Upper Peninsula. This feature presentation spans operations from one end of the Upper Peninsula to the other, with extensive coverage of various Canadian National branchlines. Also included are segments on the Escanaba & Lake Superior, Lake Superior & Ishpeming, Mineral Range, and others. Photos were taken over the last three years and cover all seasons.

This will be followed by video programming on various topics, time permitting.

Meeting is held at the Radcliff Center, 1751 Radcliff St, Garden City, Michigan. Entrance is from the parking lot on West side of building. Meeting starts at 1900 and ends at 2050 (have to be out of the building by 2100).

PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Presentations that contain useful, modern information to find trains may attract younger crowds.

Mr. Ryan's presentation will not disappoint. He's an excellent photographer.

I agree with Conrail Detroit. Looking forward to a presentation from him. Like to have a presentation of 35-45 minutes. We have a digital projector.
As with any group it is hard to get programs. If Conrailrdetroit makes a program for Michigan Railroad Club he can also show it at AATTW in Ann Arbor and at the Durand meets.
