Seems unlikely that they would ship or receive by rail, but it would be cool if they did

Is this the plant north of Muskegon?

Correct. This is the Bayer then BASF facility that used to have a wiki entry stating they received "More than AARR would expect." :)
Located off of Whitehall road near Berry Junction.

JBaxter, I am pretty sure this plant gets tank cars. As ~Z~ said more than I think.

Looks like more loss of business for the Michigan Shore. That line seems to be the hardest for G&W to keep business on.

This article says they are going to produce chromatography resins at the plant. That might involve inbound rail usage, but I am not certain. We'll find out in 2025/2026!

I'm pretty sure he meant the new business going in. :)

Yeah... I did mean the new business, but to be fair I didn't realize that plant was currently receiving cars anyway so that worked out just fine

Any updates on the plant and rail service to it?

We really will not know until 2025 or 2026, when Life Sciences is expected to reopen the plant.
Production at the facility is expected to begin in late 2025 or early 2026, and it’s expected to “ramp up” in 2027 and 2028, MEDC officials said.
