Are there new times that CN L521 goes on duty out of Battle Creek and in South Bend the following day?
The wiki lists L521 as OD in Battle Creek at 5pm but that doesn't seem accurate as he is often around South Bend at around 6pm. Also, L521 the next day continuing from South Bend is often around Kingsbury, Indiana at about 5pm.

CN E251 left Flat Rock on the 13th w/ EJ&E 659 leading solo but he left around 8:30 AM. Today 251 left at like 4:30 AM. I thought it left between 10AM-1PM... What's the deal?

When the microchip shortages began hitting auto manufacturers, E251 started running earlier. I think it has to do with them having less work or less of a train to build and they can get out of there earlier. It used to hit Lansing around 9 o’clock and now we get it anywhere between 4-6. It’s nice because sometimes it has cool power on it. although a lack of foreign power on that train is also a direct result of a dearth of autoracks trains going down the holly to FR.

It also depends on when 116 arrives in Flat Rock, as that crew can and often does return to Pontiac on 251.

521/520 is the South Bend local turn that runs out of Battle Creek. Goes west to South Bend as 521, crew lays over and comes back the next day as 520.
