One thing that I noticed in the comments section, for the paper-- was that somebody said it would be a good place for a drive in. Well, since I grew up around the corner from there,--- that's what it used to be--- Bel- Air Drive In and Amusement park. Must be somebody else from the old neighborhood.

I’m a few days late on this but the work has been completed and the road is reopened. There’s a shiny new crossing signal, something that was never there in the McLouth days, complete with a good old fashioned signal bell, not an e-bell. Couldn’t get a picture since I was driving.
