Imagine seeing two SD40’s pass and hearing squealing brakes behind it :shock:


Note the fact that the SD40 leading this “train” has a K5LLA horn :lol:

Loaded coil train in emergency.
Not like trains that have gone into emergency have derailed before.
So standing near the tracks with a building behind you is an excellent idea.

It seemed to take a while before the brakes set up on the coil cars. I'm glad that they stopped safely and that the crew could stay out of the way (and had room to run) before the coil cars stopped.
