A trip to the CID-NMRA train show at Lebanon, Indiana yielded this encounter with CSX local J711 mid-afternoon Sunday, January 30, 2022. CSXT 4059, an SD40-3 running long hood forward, has 18 soybean meal loads from Archer Daniels Midland Co's Frankfort, Indiana crushing facility. First scene is at W. County Road 650 South at Reagan. The second is at S. Enterprise Blvd on Lebanon's south side.

This wasn't my first visit to Lebanon, but it was the first that I had time to explore. I was impressed with the industrial park on the city's south side. McKinley Packaging, NGL Energy Partners, D-A Lubricant, Ken's Foods and DS Smith Packaging are active customers.

Great find! What time could you normally see J711 in Lebanon? I maybe in the area during spring and possibly may wanna shoot it…

The northbound was at Lebanon at 1000, but that was before I arrived. Best thing to do is be somewhere south of Lebanon by late morning and wait for it. J776 is the weekday job. It spends maybe a couple hours at Frankfort delivering and pulling from ADM on the west side before heading back south. Track speed is 25 mph.
