I’m kinda surprised that no one has shared this. But a few weeks back on my trip, I caught the first run of the NS/W&LE joint venture gravel (?) train in Bellevue.
It ran to Clay Center, Ohio in the middle of the night on the chicagoline with the W&LE power behind an NS AC44C6M (probably because W&LE doesn’t have PTC built in on their units?). Regardless, it was certainly interesting and I thought it would be relevant to share here.

On the Fb Toledo Railfans group there’s been some cool shots of WLE power at the loading point. Very sharp photos.

Both W&LE locos in the photo are two of the many that are equipped with PTC.David Collins wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 11:14 am

Old EMD’s are the gift that keeps on giving.
