Berea Ohio ATCS

Unread post by amessmann »

Hey all, I'm going to Berea to visit a friend in a couple weeks, I was wondering what ATCS layouts I should use for the area.
Is there one that shows both CSX and NS?

Thank you.

IIRC CSX uses satellite; NS Might have something though

For anyone who comes across this thread looking for information:

Berea, Ohio is on the Norfolk Southern Cleveland Area ATCS map.
I found it here: https://groups.io/g/ATCSMonitor/files/D ... ,,20,2,0,0
I don't think CSX uses ATCS on this line anymore.

Berea is the connection between the NS Chicago Line and the CSX Cleveland Short Line Sub. The Cleveland Short Line Sub is part of CSX's Great Lakes Division and the NS Chicago Line is part of the NS Dearborn Division. I was able to hear CSX radio on 160.86MHz and NS radio on 161.07MHz, I was able to hear DDs west of Chicago on NS' frequency, so they must use repeaters.

The CSX Great Lakes Division Timetable can be found here:
http://www.multimodalways.org/docs/rail ... 1-2014.pdf
Berea is on Page 10.

The NS Dearborn Division Timetable can be found here:
http://www.multimodalways.org/docs/rail ... 4-2008.pdf
Berea is on Page 4. (CP 194)
