Let me know when the next train is coming, as we'll schedule some Saugatuck Hill MOW work around it (there'll be lots of slow-orders on the hill, so coal trains won't make it even with pushers). We may ask for it a day late if need be.
Next coal train up that way should be on Wednesday of next week.
Alright. We're going to start the work Monday, finish up early Wednesday. Wrse comes to worse the train sits in Michigan City overnight.

Yes it is MQT. It was loaded today and is called at Bear Run at 11am tomorrow. It is the trainset you gave us last week, so that will work well. Is MQT power gonna run through on that set you are returning us?

Nope, your train will go in on Track #2, locos will run-around on #4, and couple up to the outbounds on 5.

OK, so we'll be picking up the original coal train set at W. Olive then? (correct me if I'm wrong)

The Monon announced this morning that it is going to rebuild it's Paoli Branch from Orleans to service a handful of industries in Paoli, IN. It was once a part of the French Lick line to French Lick Springs, which was ripped up a long time ago. The line will be served by OPL (Orleans-Paoli Local), a new local train established in Orleans. A small yard, probably about 4 tracks, will be built in Orleans as well for traffic off the line. Local train NANL will work the yard. Work on the line will start in December.

Customer list on the Paoli Branch:
Orleans:
-Paoli Warehouses Inc (Boxcars)
-Layne Scrap (Gondolas)

Paoli;
- S. Indiana Woods Co. (Lumber)
-Paoli Plastics Co. (Covered Hoppers)
-Crestwood Manufacturing (Lumber, Woodchips)

A new industry is locating along the Monon at Reynolds, IN at the site of the aborted VeraSun facility near the diamond with the TPW in town. This is a real industry and here is a link to the story over on the Indiana board:

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=26192

My PC is already in negotiations with GW, the new owners of the TPW, over trackage rights and run through agreements to serve this place when it opens. :wink:
