Ok, NS will pick it up from the scrapyard and they will take it to Strasburg. NS has a local that goes to the scrapyard twice aweek, so they will pick it up on Friday.

Ten more of our new units have arrived at Sharonville yard near Cincinnati and have been activated. They are 45CWDC's 5310-5319. About 50 of the AC4400CW's have been rounded up and sent into storage so far, the remaining 60 should be taken off line and put into storage by the end of next week. Reports are that 20 of the 68 stored C44-9W's have been repainted and relettered PCLX. Just to differentiate them from our primary units, they are being painted PC green with white lettering(this is the same color we use to paint our freight cars).

Do you own the trackage from Cincinnati Ohio to Xenia and on up to Columbus? If not would you be interested in a partnership once the CSE gets up on its feets and gets our power crunch solved? :?:

I do own the C&X Branch from Cincy to Xenia and I also happen to own the ex PRR Undercliff yard as well. I am willing to negotiate a selling price for Undercliff but PC has to retain trackage rights through the yard so our trains can access the C&X Branch and also retain the right to reclaim Undercliff if you go and build your own yard. I would be willing to allow trackage rights over the C&X and my mainlines to Columbus if you so desire, just let me know and we can negotiate terms for that as well.

FYI, I also own the ex NYC from Cincinnati thru Dayton and Springfield to Columbus and I also own the ex PRR from London to Xenia to Dayton. Other lines down near Cincy that I own are the Carlisle Branch from Carlisle Jct to West Manchester and the Springfield Branch from Springfield to Indianapolis.

Thanks for the heads up, if NS does like they've been doing, they'll be here by Friday

Yesterday PC ran CIR-401, the circus train, from Columbus to Cincinnati and it was reported by Carlisle, OH at 6:45pm. This was the blue train and power was PC 2054 and NS 2754 & 2549. The PC unit was cut off in Cincinnati and the train continued on its way to Memphis, TN.

The blue unit wont be going through Memphis this year. Its going through Chattanooga and High Point and Rome is going to handle it over the Alabama division to Birmingham.

We will give you trackage rights and the priotity dispatching over CSE trains and we could split cost of expanding the yard as we accuried the Peavine and now need the yard but since we are the smaller road we will fit to your ideas too.

In reality, you're better off building a brand new yard at a different location because the real Undercliff was abandoned in the 70's because it was too small with no room to expand. In the paper railroad world, I use it for locals and as a set off/pick up yard, since our main Cincinnati yard is at Sharonville. So I will lease you Undercliff yard to use as your primary yard until you can build your own elsewhere with PC having trackage rights on the mainline through it to access the C&X Branch.

Okay thats a deal. CSE has accuried land but its still going to be a tight fit for us there. Penn Central is lucky in having Sharonville. We do have Clare yard on the peavine but even thats a small yard but we will use it for transfer runs to.
By the way CSE is starting to run unit stone trains and we were wondering if the PC could take a train to Chicago. We will hand it off to you if you want at Clare

The 4008 and 4007 were delivered to the CSE on Saturday by the GRCI-8.

CSE, we definitely can handle your stone traffic to Chicago at Cincinnati, our crews can pick it up at Undercliff and then head it up to Chicago. Who in Chicago should I hand it off to?
