St. Louis MI used to have a branch that ran along the river. It had many industries including some Dow facilities IINM. If it were my paper railroad I'd reopen this segment as a heavy industrial zone for a power plant, chemicals, and ethanol refinery. That would justify a 1st and possibly 2nd shift switcher plus unit coal trains and possibly unit ethanol trains.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

As long as you are rebulding relay line to Sand Lake and serve feed mill in Howard City (6000 tons per week these days) and reopen lime plant in Sand Lake (was MIGN's largest on line customer for first several years) :)

samm rr has secured a new customer in st louis a ethanol refinery that would require a switcher on site
we have also purchased the 4065 b307a from the hesr
ex frv 815 that we purchased for parts will be gutted and be sent to progress rail to be built int a pr22b genset switcher it will replace the switcher at hemlock semiconductor

the samm rr is in the market for a
gp7 or 30
or even a u18b or a b23-7
so if anyone has one in good running shape or in need of light repairs let me know

We're selling the locomotives as is with no modifications done by us. You have to do all changes yourself.
