They must hate me. Instead of getting up and heading west earlier this morning, I decided to sleep in. And now a coal train is heading south in this nice sunlight. If I were out there, they wouldn't have left until tonight. It always seems to work out that way. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Now, you see, if I had been out there, they would have stopped long enough to screw a good shot for me before the clouds rolled in.

I headed down that way to see what was going on, but they took off just ahead of me south of Wells. Yep - and now it's clouded up.

no it went like this:

because Amtrak went into emergency e949-24 had to run restricted speed look out for track problems.

I guess that K357 isn't going to run at all? :(

Now if they can just stall X289 until tomorrow afternoon when I get out of class I can chase it! :D

So the fact that you got some extra sleep is a good thing- at least you didn't get up early only to have the clouds screw up that good shot...

Good point, Charles. And it was much needed rest. I've been going non-stop for two weeks straight and it was a good day to just veg out.
