SB 515 with what sounded like an SD-40 (no visual today) went past MP 22.5 around 7:35 am.

We’ll see how it preforms today, hopefully it’ll stay on 515.

Passing MP 22.5 at 11:39 am. All three GE's are elephant style.

116 past MP 22.5 at 2:15 pm. All autoracks, ike a 100 series train should be. Long train, two CN's as power, lead was a 5700.

NB 515 with 57 cars and SD40-2L 5340 climbing the Hill at about 20 mph at 3:25 pm. A lot of TTX boxcars on the front end. Must have been a large CR pickup as there was ton of tanks cars and some coiled steel cars. A ton of empty centerbeams. Eight or so Chrysler boxcars, two in NW colors and one in Southern colors still, and six to eight loaded scrap gondolas on the rear end. No covered hoppers today.

Good job 5340! You look like heck but you are still getting the job done.

Folks, CN ET44AC #3115 "BC Rail Heritage" is back on today's train 385 but trailing! I did not catch! It is reported on "Heritage Units" (by East Michigan Films) southbound in Wyandotte at 5:48 p.m. today!!!!

OK, is CN ET44AC #3115 "BC Rail Heritage" with the "Regular CN" engines switching in Flat Rock today, Tuesday 3-19? Are they also working trains through Allen Park on "Hoop Track?" Where can it be seen before train 384 if anything? Seems like it could lead 384 later! It would be nice to catch again, but in the daytime!

CN 3115 led L572 NB into Oakwood Yard - was there at 07:00 AM - Presumably will lead tonight's M384

Yup LansingRailfan, yesterday I ventured to Flat Rock to find it! 3115 was not switching yesterday afternoon, it was sitting in the shed! I, however (with a 'Goofy Guy') ventured to follow "Hoop Track" from Dearborn to Flat Rock! Nothing on this line! We first caught a westbound CPKC train with CP "Maroon Heritage" SD70ACU" #7013 trailing second (behind regular CP C44-9W) on westbound train 231! That was at the Thunderbowl® area, Allen Park! Only thing moving close up at Flat Rock was "CN" painted IC GP38-2 # 9600 heading east light power around 5 p.m. The "Hump Job in the distance had two "CN" painted GTW GP38-2s!

17:00 - E251 stopped short of Trowbridge diamond on M2 due to brake issues. They have been blocking Bouge and Hagadorn (MP 225 or so) for over an hour now. 3328, 2308, and 3859 elephant style. Must be near 2 miles long.
18:17 - tail end just cleared the diamond.

Shucks, I did not even get CN SD40-2W #5340 at all!

Well, here we go again!!!! BCOL C40-8M "Cowl" #4626 was spotted (by Trainman42) on "Heritage Units" heading north, Chicago, IL, March 20, 9:41 p.m. The destination shows "University Park, IL!" In the consist are more CN C40-8 "Variants!" They are all probably is heading for "Scrap" at Chicago Heights Processing®!!!! Does anyone have more info? NO!!!!

116 with a single CN, racks then stacks passed MP 22.5 at 1:20 pm.

251 passing MP 22.5 with a 5700 leading a GE at 1:54 pm, rushing to beat Amtrak 350 to Pontiac, which is running on time and is arriving in Troy about now. It had a CN hopper in the consist, something I don't see much of.

Amtrak 353 had 6 cars out of Pontiac, wonder if it was a new Venture cafe car or just a bad order.

507 went past MP 22.5 around 5:10 pm.

SB 513 with 9607 and one box and one tank went past at 5:45 pm, following Amtrak 355 down the Hill.

508 is passing MP 22.5 at 6:39 pm with 8880 as the only power, a lot of racks and containers on the rear. Moving pretty fast going down the Hill.

6 units, 2775, 3108, 3227, 3821, 3085, and rear DPU 3290 with 201 cars, 840 axles reported at 219.5. M394, with 3213 and 3036, took the siding at Shaftsburg for them.
