Here's what's been happening in Cadillac this past week. A strange schedule, but more the norm lately.

Returned from Clare last Thursday afternoon. Started a TC run and finished it Friday. Beacon serviced. A possible McBain run after returning from TC.

Monday was a Clare run. They returned to Cadillac on Tuesday. Ran to Clare afterwards, returned on Wednesday. Ran to Clare afterwards, returned yesterday.

After returning from Clare yesterday, a Petoskey run was started. I expect this to be completed some time today.

Thanks for the updates!

382 solo ran up to Oakley yesterday. 24 covered hoppers that looked to be ZFS soybean shuttle and 4 loaded fertilizer tankers for The Andersons' to transload.

Since the FRA hit a number of cars at Ann Pere after they were interchanged to CSX, GLC has been primarily running to Osmer on the OSTN runs. AARR has run to Osmer 4 times in the last two days. At least two grain trains and two cuts of manifest.

SRI has PNLX 57 (facing east) has the SRI aux tender and 1225's tender on the GLC mainline in Owosso. Appears as though they are filling both with water.

It sounds like the larger diesel International Hi-Rail is on the way back to Manton. Something bigger just passed on the tracks here but it didn’t sound like a locomotive and the horn sounds like the typical one on top of a truck. I saw it in TC the other day as well doing track work along River Road.

Eight cars at the Petoskey Plastics transload track. One was being unloaded. Usually there are 10 or more.

At least five went up this past Thursday. One was being unloaded in Tufford Yard on Wednesday. I haven't seen what came back down.

396 and 395 leaving Cadillac towards Clare at 1435.
Looked like ten empty plastics came down from Petoskey.

Thank you AANR

I’m curious, do you have a model railroad?

I had a 9 x 13 foot n scale layout in my last house. I moved about 4 years ago and everything is currently in boxes. The plan is getting back to running as I get closer to retirement. (4 years).

Looked like they were working the bean plant about 2130 or 2200 when I came by. At least there were a couple engines back in the plant. I couldn't see their train in the dark.
