Late report,they worked Middleton Saturday. Spotted a grain train for MAC,they started loading it today.

21:40 - OSTN northbound lined into the yard at Durand. CN dispatch lined them in front of Amtrak.

GLC was NB out of Owosso at 02:50 AM with a huge cut of ZFS hoppers and tanks out of Durand.

Those cars seem to have come in via all three railroads at first but seem to all be leaving via NS. CN still seems to have ZFS cars and so does CSX from GLC.

I think ZFS is trying to expedite some of their soybean oil cars as they tend to be higher revenue carloads.

02:50 - NB out of Owosso with GLC 382/385 FF elephant style with large cut for ZFS out of Durand - tanks and hoppers

12:05 - SB thru Owosso with GLC 385/382 LHF with return traffic from ZFS and possibly some Middleton or Ashley cars as well.

14:40 - GLC OSTN SB out of Durand with 385/382 both LHF

383 and 382 made a Owosso - Durand turn today. Came into Durand at 3pm with 7 cars for CN. Spent better part of 5 hours switching the North Yard at Durand, getting the cars in the right order. Departed at 820pm with 80 cars, mix of ZFS, Tank cars, and a few empty center beams

Late afternoon call times the past two days in Cadillac. Looked like a Clare run overnight. Load of lumber and a Beacon gon in Tufford this morning.

Seen the south bound leaving Owosso,plus caught the north bound in Ashley while making my deliveries. Thing's to note,rail replacement continued today in Owosso on the main. They've been replacing ties,rail,in town most of the summer it seems. HiRail was inspecting the Middleton branch,MAC has a unit train ready to go. Wonder if GLC was able to hire a few more crew members? Activity seems to have picked up some,but definitely still wacky time's I've been catching them.

They came north with a unit train for Oakley last night from NS plus other assorted carts from AARR.

Middleton runs today most likely. Will take three trips to pull out that unit train from MAC Middleton.
