JAIL came north to Lansing yesterday with 821/1751. Had a couple dozen at CSX and 8ish at CN. They took some cars from CSX to Saginaw Yard and then worked Padnos before going down south.

When they go past Ensel, they leave 821 in Ensel. 821 led to and from Ensel tho but 1751 was solo on the Lansing Manufacturers branch.

They worked RSDC on the return trip to Mason and it looked like 24-30 for NS last night. Nice to see some cars moving around Lansing again as it’s been a bit dry off of CSX and CN lately.

SB by Ann Arbor on AARR. Heavy on Grain cars, Mixed Freight on rear.

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 4:48pm. WAMX 4125 and 4209 both facing north with about 35 cars. Last 15 were new AEX grey covered hoppers. Laid on the horn a little after going by 84th St and slowed down, probably something on the tracks at the private crossing north of 84th.

Back south at 7:27pm with same power and 10 cars.

Sure sounds like something on Grand Elk heading south from Hughart right now. Just heard them blow at 32nd, 36th, and 44th.

A few more horns again around 10pm. Local job switching down by 44th?

Grand Elk back south at 2:27pm. They decided to have a better view southbound so they lead with WAMX4009, followed by 4209 and 4125 with 21 cars.

JAIL JL-1 inbound to Mason at 07:30 from Jackson this morning with 821/822 and about 15 coils and boxcars

JAIL Z646 went north at 08:45 from Mason. Worked RSDC, Harris Rebar, crossed CP Cedar/CN at 10:00. They had a high/wide load today for Saginaw Yard. Into Ensel at 10:15 and then they went further to Saginaw Yard and CN.

Departed Ensel for Mason at 14:00 and worked RSDC and Michigan Packaging in Mason.

LSRC SB out of Standish this afternoon at 12:50 with a CSX system unit grain train with LSRC 6305/CSX 823

Just leaving Plainwell at 6:15. I caught part of the train before in cleared M-89. They probably added 5 or g boxcars from Otsego on the front end.

10:00 - JAIL NB across Cedar St with adbf 1751 leading and 821 trailing on the end. In the middle was several gondolas, a boxcar and a tank car. They worked Harris Rebar on their way north.

10:35 - NB just north of Cavanaugh Yard

11:11 - JAIL Z646 pulling into Ensel with 1751/821. They have 7 coil cars to grab from CSX.

Z627-30 @ 14:50 Cleared Pontaluna Rd with MMRR engines #2019 + #2170 & 9 cars (9 loads + 0 empties)

@ 3:05 cleared Airport Road, Muskegon MI.

Agreed, south through Byron Center at 6:53pm. Think I counted 12 but you might be right. Wonder if the FRA train will hold in GR for the weekend and run Monday or maybe Wednesdays due to the holiday.
GDLK did leave two locos in GR they brought up so maybe 4009 will lead it south.

My correction, it was 12. My friend had seen the FRA train with 3531 & the cars. So he may follow 303.

The GDLK FRA train is sitting in the yard with 4209 at head LHF & solo. All the lights are off and didn’t see any crew or anyone hear the train.
