Amtrak P371-27 @ 06:38 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 in Zeeland, Mi with 16 axles. IDTX engine #4602 & 3 cars (AmCafe + 2 Ventures).

M327-27 @ 06:39 westward reported from the east end Hudsonville mp CG12.0 with CSX engines #983 + #5340 & 25 cars (15 loads + 10 empties) @ 2,130 tons & 1,650 feet. He has 4 auto-rack cars in his consist.

M327-27 @ 06:54 westward reported by the DD mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 112 axles.

B714-23 (empty ethanol) @ 07:08 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: BNSF engines #7428 + #6816 & 82 cars (2 loads + 80 empties) @ 3,222 tons & 4,984 feet. He’s ready to depart Grand Rapids.

That B714 ethanol detour was spotted from 196 clearing Lamar with the BNSF leaders heading WB. He looked to be moving at a decent clip already.

As much as I know this will probably be a one off move, I wouldn’t complain if CSX did this again.

What was up with the one loaded coal car on M327 today? Why didn’t it go to Consumers?

Maybe misrouted. There was a single coal car on M326 yesterday

There is no engine at Waverly yard In Holland Michigan this morning so they probably have to pick one up from the Wyoming yard.
They had to do the same thing on Friday when they started their day in Wyoming yard went west worked out of Waverly yard then returned east at the end of the day.

What I assume is M326 just went by Stevensville. Two six axle locomotives plus a four axle locomotive up front. Assume this will be going to relieve the shortage of local power.

Only caught a glimpse of it, but it appeared the four axle unit had a pink battery box on the right side.
