Amtrak 30 left from Chicago over 4 hours late. Departed from Elkhart, Indiana at 0210. Estimated arrival in Toledo at 0409.

I never saw 355 yesterday afternoon or 352 last night and was looking for them. Did I just miss them?

I did see the two disabled Venture coaches at the depot track in Pontiac yesterday afternoon so they are still there.

Thanks, David. Pretty complicated rescheduling/rerouting. Sort of like winter all over again: Who cares about running passenger trains?

355 just went past MP 22.5 so it is running today. It had a Charger on both ends.

This is necessary for the work window to demolish the existing antique bridges in Jackson and slide the new, pre-built bridge sections into place. Can’t run a train when there’s nothing beneath the track!

A SB train just went past MP 22.5 at 6:48 am. It looked like two trainsets together. There was a Charger on the rear. It was an hour late for 350, which, if I read the confusing train rescheduling Amtrak and David posted, is running today. So I am guessing it is taking all the equipment in Pontiac from last night's trains to Chicago for the half train schedule starting today.

354 east departed New Buffalo at 20:21. P42 AMTK 55 leading, Amfleet cafe and some venture cars, and IDTX 4623 on the rear.

370 has IDTX 4612 leading, 2 ventures and a cafe on rear.

So that was between their station stops at Tampa and Lakeland so it's going back towards Auburndale.

They are currently a few minutes from their stops in Alexandria, Virginia and Washington DC.

They also meet their southbound counterparts near Alexandria.

At 2:30 am an Amtrak train went NB past MP 22.5 on the Holly Sub. First one in almost a week. May have been a deadhead move of trainsets to Pontiac as regular service is to start back today.

And just now at 6:21 am Train 351 went by, running 26 minutes late. Nice start.

No 350 today. Turns out none scheduled. Summer schedule again? Or still track work in Jackson? 355 is scheduled to leave Pontiac in a couple minutes, first one in a week.

Amtrak 355 had a Charger leading four Venture Coaches and an old snack car with a P42 on the rear end today. Passed MP 22.5 on the Holly right on time at 5:35.

Poor Amtrak. Train 350 ran today out of Chicago for the weekend summer schedule and had to terminate at Detroit Station according to the Amtrak Status Board. A report on the CN board says that a Conrail train stalled or broke down and was blocking Milwaukee Junction this afternoon holding up CN and Amtrak traffic.

However, I just saw Amtrak 350 go by MP 22.5 at 5:40 pm, about ten minutes later than 355 is supposed to be going the other way! So who knows what is going on today. Let's just chalk it up to 350 running 3.5 hours late.

355 past MP 22.5 at 6:50 pm, an hour and fifteen minutes late. Only one locomotive, so one from today's 350 was left at Pontiac for the weekend.
