CSX OCS October 2022

Sounds like the CSX OCS P001 is currently in Barr yard in Chicago, positioned to go east. Word is they will travel to North Baltimore, then to Columbus, then to Toledo, then Detroit, then back to Chicago. I haven't heard if the return trip from Detroit to Chicago will involve going via Grand Rapids or not.

I've heard another trip via Plymouth Sub to GR and then back to Chicago. GOBBLESS P001

Reported out of Columbus, OH this morning. Running via Toledo and Detroit to Grand Rapids, so expect a mid-evening, probably after-dark arrival into Grand Rapids.

I wonder if they will take the Lincoln at Carleton to avoid having to wye the train upon arrival in Detroit? (Not that it matters to me - I’m over here near Grand Rapids where the headlight in the dark photos will be greatly enhanced by the fall colors blooming forth this week
)

P001-07 should be leaving Plymouth to head to GRP on the Plymouth Sub by 14:30. RN currently having MofW people clear off the tracks by 14:00 that are working between Howell and South Lyon.
