12:50 - JAIL and 1751 solo is NB across the Grand River with six cars headed back to Ensel Yard. There are 5-6 cars there as well. Unknown if they will pick them up or wait until tomorrow.

Are the empty tank cars for Anderson the corn oil that seems to bounce around from railroad to railroad (last I heard ADBF was handling it)?
...one empty tankcar for The Andersons.

Yea, the tank cars are the corn oil transfer. Formerly on INER now on ADBF/JAIL. Cars going to all three connections.
IIRC the corn oil originates at Anderson's ethanol plant in Albion which has a spur directly connected to NS. Yet, they chose to truck it to transloads for loading onto to railcars.

Cool. They must prefer having connections to all three RRs. The video of the train was cool but I don’t think I can upload it.

It had one of the brand new CSX coil cars on it too.

Thank you for your Bad Axe Sub information. It’s appreciated. I too would like to know what the gondolas were carrying and other business in that area.

Last night's hesr run south out of bad axe had roughly 12 covered hoppers and two of the g/w orange units for power.

They brought back 7 gondolas from somewhere south of bad axe…..
A couple more gondolas sitting with about 5 covered hoppers in the yard in bad axe to go south this week, usually has been on Tuesday afternoon/ evening as of late.

Saw a line of freight, possibly for the southbound GDLK Job 303. About 20 covered hoppers at 4:10pm

I also saw the northbound line of freight sitting on the farthest track from the main.

I did not see any engines from US 131 freeway

GRE returned west late around 5:00pm with 20 or so hoppers. At 6:00p they had the CSX diamond blocked and the yard looked full. Still 10 or 12 on the AMWAY siding and Lowell is mostly full.

The Star of the West Gera is loading covered hoppers again on the track on the south side of the bean plant. It’s a long story how they lost this business but it appears they got it (or something) back.

Currently heading south. Just heard them blowing at 44th, I believe (and now their horn is more faint).
