The Elk was heading north from Plainwell at 4:11 this afternoon while I had the dogs out for a run. I had to look through the trees so I couldn't verify the power. I counted about a dozen cars with a preponderance of what appeared to be box cars. The trees prevented a definitive count and verification of the consist.

At approx 12:45pm, Grand Elk had a white box truck that looked similar to Sperry rail service run north through Byron Center, loud horn. Right behind it was a MOW pickup.
Never saw/heard the return trip of GDLK last night, so one can only guess they should be southbound this afternoon.

JAIL ran overnight to Saginaw Yard and pulled approx 30 of the store 3-bay CHs which are old grain hoppers used for salt now. They are staged in Mason and shipping Sunday night to NS, presumably for scrap. Lotta old fallen flag hoppers. They were heard NB around 1:00 this morning around CP MA.

Today they are back going to CSX today and CN.

1760/1751 were positioned this morning around 07:00 to be northbound to Lansing today. Should be in Ensel by now. They had loaded tank cars on the head end so they are definitely headed to work CN interchange as well as CSX.

I was heading south on 131 and saw them crossing 146th at 5:14pm. I was wondering how long it would take them to get to your place. 11 minutes is a little more than I expected though.

JAIL made an overnight trip to Lansing and returned to Mason a little after 7:00.

I caught them leaving RSDC southbound with 1758, 1751, 1760 & about 40 cars. Some boxcars & tanks, but mostly another batch of covered hoppers from storage. I assume they had some coil cars from CSX that were left at RSDC.
