JAIL southbound across CN in Lansing at 22:15.

1758, 1751, 1760 & about 50 cars. Mostly coil steel, some tanks.

Tanks got set off at South yard, train headed south from Cavanaugh road about 22:50.

yesterday, JAIL ran north during the day with 1760/1751 and ten coils to return to CSX. They had grabbed over 40 coils Wednesday night and had left some tank cars in Cavanaugh Yard after sorting them out.

JAIL 1751/1758 nose to nose across CP Cedar with tank cars and a lot of Empty coils from RSDC.

GDLK was in Plainwell a bit after 7:00 PM. Not sure which way they were headed but usually it is south at this time of day.

EDIT: While out walking the dogs a round 9:15, they were still in Plainwell. Not sure if they re-crewed or went on break. When they got going again, it sounded like the horns were going west. Night run to Otsego? Most of the time they go north after Otsego.

JAIL ended up working CSX and CN. Padnos didn't have cars ready for them so they went back with two tank cars from CN.

Train came into Wixom as an X215. CSX power did not stay with the train.

LSRC 6356 is sitting in Rougemere.

Way back when, Grand Elk used to have the night time Gearhart yard job run up and switch Otsego. Maybe they've gone back to that again with how infrequently 303 has been running.

That makes sense. I'll have to make a point of running over there some time when I hear them at an unusual time.

They went NB this morning with 1760 leading 1751. 14 empty coils for CSX and 3 empty coils for CN.

There’s cars at CN and CSX for them to pick up as well as working Padnos and delivering their loaded scrap gons to CN. Padnos didn’t have their cars ready on Friday to ship.

Currently working Ensel as of 10:40

Welcome! At 11:29 they were SB across W Michigan Ave w three coils and the Padnos cars as well.

They will work the CN interchange at Old Hollow Yard, grab any cars CN has for them and then head NB back to Ensel where they will grab the cars that CSX has for them and then head back SB on CSX trackage.

16:35 - HESR backs onto the PH Wye in Durand and prepares to depart for Saginaw

Grand Elk North through Byron Center at 8:08pm. 3 locos, 4206 was one of them, and approx 100 cars.

Back south sometime around 2am on Tuesday.

Per a post on a non-railfan group, Marquette Rail seems to be tying up Comstock Park currently. Been blocking Lamoreaux drive in town for about the past hour.
West River Dr and 6 mile Rd not affected.
