That is one big pick up for JAIL! I would imagine most of those are steel coils for the place in Holt.

While in Ada, caught the GRE picking up one tank car at the Amway complex. The orange GRE unit was added with MQT 2042. Must have added it before they left their yard this morning.

Just crossed the river WB in GR about 20 minutes ago. 10 or 11 hoppers, two engines, but no tank. The engines were both facing the same direction. Seems like they would like them back to back, but probably not easy to turn them around.

Earlier today they ran south to Holland from Muskegon then back north to Muskegon not too long ago.

GRE does not have a way to turn engines around. They prefer their locomotives to face west so the engineer is on the conductor's side while they are switching.

Are CSX-LSRC engines still running through between Flint and Toledo?

SB LSRC mixed freight sitting in Novi's siding as of 13:36. Lead engines 540 and 5203, going elephant style.
This particular train had both CSX units on the front, but yes, combined CSXT/LSRC power is still being run.

Do you know what switching movements have to take place for NS to set out and pick up and for ADBF to load a unit grain train?

No but I'm just as curious as you are about it.

I do know that once ADBF gets the train, they have to break it apart in four pieces due to siding lengths and to avoid blocking crossings.
