At about 13:30, I saw what I think was RR-25 headed toward Guardian. Crept past the Inkster Road crossing at the aforementioned time; TWO NS engines and about maybe a dozen or so covered hoppers headed south. I didn't think to take any notes, because I was working; I heard him head back north about an hour and a half later with a different horn from the one headed south.

I don't think I EVER remember seeing two engines on the Guardian turn, in the quarter century or so I've been watching it.

Like you Eric there was about 4-5 years (2010-2014ish) I would see it 2-3x per week and it always had one engine

I DO recall occasionally seeing two engines on it going to Brownstown back in the 1990s. Though, when they did that, one would stay behind and work Fritz and Ford, while the other continued on to Guardian. I never saw multiple engines past Ford until CSX started running trains through there to/from Carleton, which was probably around 1998 or thereabouts.

To this day, whenever I see an occasional I-150 headed up, he'll sometimes have multiple engines. But the local never has multiple engines that far south.

I should add, the speed he passed by at today was very reminiscent to the speeds along there prior to the track upgrade around 1997/1998. No more than ten MPH, tops.
