Q326-18 @ 12:16 eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 336 axles & 4,774 feet long. CSX engines #87 + #153 & 81 cars.

D706-18 @ 12:17 eastward reported by DD mp CH126.3 with 208 axles. CSX engines #5220 + #5452 & 49 cars (1 less car than what was said originally on his job briefing earlier).

D708 is working today, same engines as before.

A car just smashed into the crossing gate at Turner Street.

D801-18 @ 12:50 copied his EC1 at Wells mp CG41 to proceed eastward to West Olive with BNSF engine #9040 & CSX engines #735 + #814 & 128 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF #5753. This was N800-15 that had tied down there this morning.

D706-18 @ 12:57 eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 208 axles & 3,180+ feet long. CSX engines #5220 + #5452 & 49 cars.

D700-18 @ 14:00 westward Holland Depot mp 25.3 pass track to main track with CSX engine #6546 & 1 Box car. He has pickup work for Hartford mp CG67.8 & work for Coloma mp CG75.8 with a Riverside turn around mp CG80.1

I’m guessing D700-18 westbound cut off engine #4303 GP39-2 which is now sitting in Waverly yard?
That appears to be the case.

What's going with Z151? Head end stopped at Bridge st., not sure where it ends..

The BL2 photo is one I had never seen before, in the seven plus years before their retirements in 1962 when I used to ride with the crew frequently when switching in Howell. BL2- 83 was the only one left with the small side number board. The others, including #83 had larger boards mounted on the roof just ahead of the horn, and the 2nd headlight was removed. BL2 83 was also the only one in the 80-85 group to have a steam generator light most of those in the 1840-1847 series did. BL2 81 was the only one to have the double lights left on the rear.

16:32 - D706 eastbound clear CH40 Green Oak.

Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 100 axles, 1465 feet.

Per Bangor Chat, D70018 is at MP83 Grey hanging out there. N80016 on duty in Chicago as well. D70518 and D70618 at Stark in Detroit area.

17:52 - D705 westbound through South Lyon. CSXT 9015 leading per radio.

Green Oak DD at CH 39.1 said 204 axles, 2979 feet. 48 cars.
