Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 2:56pm. HLCX 3824, WAMX 4125, and 14 cars.

LSRC has a grain train being loaded in Standish with CSX power.

CSX 5471 will lead out with CSX 4545 (YN3website) trailing.

As of 2:00 they had ten cars left to load before heading south.

MMRR #2019 with lots of mixed cars, several gondolas, hoppers and tanks (at a slow pace and stopped for a few minutes) heading north at Airline Rd & Summit, Muskegon Heights 4:36 PM

Yes, was eating dinner when it went by at 6:10.
Wamx 4124, wamx 4189 and 10 cars - 2 tank cars and 8 covered hoppers I think.

18:39-49 - Durand - HESR backs down the Port Huron Wye before heading NE to Saginaw while GLC OSTN's headlights shine in the yard as they put the finishing touches on their train before heading south to Ann Pere and Osmer.

JAIL made another NB run overnight to Lansing, going to CN to pick up some box cars and scrap gons.

JAIl SB onto CSX trackage at M2 w one CSX boxcar in tow at 11:45. They also picked up a flat car with plate steel and delivered it to Alro Steel near Padnos off of Willow.

D708 looks set to follow them East as soon as they clear.

There are horns blaring in Wixom Yard

Back south at 6:33pm with same power and about 25 cars.

Is the MQT back open at the Brohman derailment site? I feel like I haven’t seen many cars from MQT customers on Q327 this past week

I'm quite sure, yes. Last week Wednesday, I saw MQT going north through GR with over 100 cars, so one can only guess they took most of these north through Brohman.

JAIL's overnight crew went south to Grief/"Michigan Packaging" to switch out before going north to CN again. They grabbed 7 boxcars and took them back to Grief. It seems like traffic is flowing more heavily thru CSX and CN than NS lately. The CSX coils are coming from Cleveland Cliffs in Middletown, OH. I know that at one time I had mentioned that someone told me that the NS ones came from Jackson/Gerdau (which later turned out to be not true) but these CSX ones are all coming out of Middletown.

They have three coils for RSDC to pick up in Ensel Yard when I drove by this morning.

Are "Grief" and "Wickes" the same location?
