I also care! This turn is the only train which crosses the diamond at Carleton and Diann anymore, as there is no longer CN traffic south of Flat Rock and no local business between Flat Rock and Diann. I’d love to know what they’re interchanging these days!

JAIL gained permission to get onto CSX (NB at Kalamazoo Street) at 9:23 AM as Z646 - last night's D707 set off 8 cars: 6 coil cars for RSDC and two rebar gons for Harris Rebar for them to take with them.

Michigan Shore south at Riley St. Holland 10:32 AM.
Heading back north at 11:10 AM.

LSRC OCS is in Holly. Going south to Wixom to pick up a customer before heading north. Power is a solo SD50

12:25. JAIL was spotted on their SB run at Harris Rebar on Jolly Road picking up two empty bulkhead flats before continuing on to Mason. They dropped off two gons from CSX to harris as well.

They continued on with six coils (4 CSX, 2 maroon CR coil shields) for RSDC in Holt.

Grand elk north through Byron Center at 5:05pm. Wamx 4124, wamx 4189 and 13ish cars.

Back south at 7:35 with same power and about 35 cars.

Grand elk south through Byron Center at 6:46pm. Wamx 4189, wamx 4124 and 31 cars.

JAIL proceeding north across CN at CP Cedar

9:22 - JAIL waiting for CSX D706-19 to clear EB before proceeding north as Z646

GRE EB in Ada with 12 or so cars at 9:10am.

-You know, there's something about MMRR #2170's RS3L horn that I noticed was different over the last 6 months. It used to sound like one of the former Michigan Shore locos. Back in October, I heard MMRR #2170 and the horn on it reminded me of the horn that the Michigan Shore #180 locomotive had when it ran on the Michigan Shore until 2012. Now when I hear it blow, it reminds me of the horn that CF&E #3885 used to have before it was GR #2104, I noticed the horn changed it's tune in April. Either way in my opinion the unit has a unique horn! Did it get a different horn or something?

2104's RS3L froze and broke one winter IIRC, they replaced it with a monstrosity of a K3LA

I'm wondering if that's the same thing that happened to MMRR 2057's old K5LA horn before it was replaced with MMRR #2019's
