Elk is in Plainwell per horns and the EOT device. If they haven't been north yet, they're rather late. I suspect they haven't as there were no boxcars on the Otsego branch when I came through.

Didn't hear them come north yet since your posting. Schedule sure has been very unpredictable lately, as it seems like a crew just gets onboard wherever the train died previously, moves it as far as they can go, and repeat.

12:03pm update: GDLK north through Byron Center, WAMX 4124, WAMX 4189, and 25ish cars.

GDLK northbound currently sitting in the siding at CP Park. 4209, 4125 & 4225 for power. Not sure if the crew is tying the train down or getting ready to go north.

Grand Elk south through Byron Center as seen from Douglas Walker park at 5:37pm. Can't quite see engine numbers from here, but looked like 1 engine pulling instead of 2, and about 40 cars.

They pulled a fast one. When I went to work they were still sitting south of M-89. The headlight was on low beam.

West Michigan left 1 car at the interchange and picked up 5 tonight on a rare Sunday evening run.

JAIL’s Sunday night/Monday morning run to Jackson saw them take 11 empty boxcars from Michigan Packaging and at least 20 empty NS and CR coil cars from RSDC in Holt down to interchange with NS.

Also would like to make a correction to a statement I made about where RSDC was sourcing the majority of their coils. It is not from Gerdau in Jackson like I was told but from Cleveland Cliffs in Middletown, OH.

When they would get the occasional coil from CSX it was from somewhere in South Carolina although the recent cut of 17 cars they received last week from CSX also came from Cleveland Cliffs.
