D706 eastbound through South Lyon at 5:40am. No visual.

Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 780 axles and 11281 feet. If 2 locos, 192 cars.

D706-31 with CSXT engine #103 leading was reported by the DD mp CH126.3 @ 00:06 with 744 axles. For 2 engines, this works out to be 183 cars. If he had all 4 engines that D705-30 (#5105 + #103 + #5371 + #5386) had brought into Grand Rapids, D706's car count would have been 180 cars.

After getting D707 out of his way, D706-31 had copied an EC1 @ 01:01 at mp CH105.6 to Ensel & that's when I had heard he was running as the D706-31. Couldn't hear the DD104.3 report.

Note: After seeing CantBeShook's post, D706-31 was probably running with just 2 engines with the other 2 engines that D705-30 had probably still in Grand Rapids for today's D706-02 set for 13:00 today.

D706 twice a week train went east thru Howell at 05:04 this morning with another 192 cars. 103+5105 was the power, 780 on the axel count at Fowlerville. Probably the same power and another 192 cars coming back west on tomorrows D705 for those who stay up all night to watch it.

Not sure yet if he will be tying down in Wells or Grand Jct or getting his pushers added & then continuing on to West Olive. All loaded coal trains have to get 2 pusher engines added at either one of thos e locations in order to make it over the Saugatuck Hill that's around mp CG32.5

D706-02 @ 17:49 coming out of the Mouse with CSXT engines #5386 + #5371(?) & telling Rouge "we got all the kinks out of the 5386".

N800-01 @ 18:42 eastward reported by the DD at mp CG44.2 with just a "no defects" message. He's traveling below the minimum speed for the HBD (Hot Bearing Detector) to properly operate since he's diverging into the west end of Wells siding at mp CG43.3 and bringing his train to stop. He will be leaving his train there for a "D" crew to later pick up.
