Another friend was nearby when D705 passed East Lansing earlier. Not sure what time. Via radio, CSXT #3069 lead. A second unit behind but not sure which one. Sounded like they were prepping to proceed west.

D705-01 @ 16:30 on the move again from Seymour mp CH139. Grand Rapids Terminal was having switch issues. In a conversation with Rouge Tower, D705 said they had picked up 50 empties from Lansing.

It was moved to the power plant in West Olive yesterday, and there are 2 additional BNSF engines there, too, from another loaded coal train. I haven't heard any empty coal trains being moved out of West Olive. Also at this time, there is a loaded coal train that had tied down yesterday inside Grand Junction Siding.

D801-01 @ 21:56 copied his EC1 from the West Olive power plant & will go to Holland & wait for Amtrak to pass. A decision will be made if he will go into Wells Siding mp CH41.4 or Kirk Siding mp CG70.2 since Grand Junction Siding has a loaded coal train tied down inside there & Gross Siding has a bad order car tied down there. KCS engine #4878 + BNSF engine #5987 & 130(?) empty coal cars.

D700-01 @ 23:08 westward, Pass Track to Main Track, Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with CSXT engines #2502 + #2349 & 6 loaded CH cars. He has work for Hartford mp CG68.7 that includes picking up 15 cars from there & will also pick up the Bad Order car inside Gross Siding mp CG61.3 If possible, they will set off the Bad order car at Menasha mp CG75.8 & if that doesn’t work out, they’ll take the Bad Order car to Benton Harbor.

D801-01 @ 23:19 westward Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with KCS #4878 + BNSF #5987 & 130(?) empty coal cars. They will go into Wells Siding mp CG41.4 and tie down & then this crew will take a taxi to Grand Junction Siding mp CG54 to move out the N801-29 loaded coal train that's tied down there.

D706-02 @ 00:14 in Grand Rapids Terminal heard talking with Rouge Tower getting their train together. No engine number was heard yet & is most likely the unknown engine that was paired with the CSXT #3069 that was on D705-01.

D700-01 @ 00:21, Main to Siding, east end of Gross mp CG61.3 to pick up the Bad Order car inside Gross. From there, he'll continue on to Hartford mp CG68.7 to drop off his cars & pick up 15. The Bad Order car will be set off at either Menasha mp CG75.8 or in Benton Harbor.

N801-01 between 01:24/01:54 reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 432 axles & 5,674 ft long. He had tied down in Riverside mp CG80.1 with 2 U.P. engines & 105 loaded coal cars (unusual car total). No mention of the engine's number in any of the radio calls that were heard. Thanks to Bryan Schlipp, Jr for giving us a heads up for the engines & to K1NGxBONDx007 for going there this evening to try & get the engine numbers - looks to be UP engines #8371 + #8937, he couldn't get close enough to be certain. They are also configured as "elephant style".

D801-01 @ 01:29 eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 544 axles & 7,208 ft long. BNSF engines #6288 + #6062 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu’s CSXT #16 + #7010. This was N801-29 that had tied down in Grand Jct Siding mp CG54 on June 30th.

D706-02 @ 01:56 eastward reported by the DD mp CH126.3 with 300 axles. CSXT engines #4037 + #3069 & 72 cars.

D706-02 @ 02:42 eastward was reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 300 axles & 4,052 ft. CSXT engines #4037 + #3069 & 72 cars. He had released his EC1 from Ensel to Lake Odessa at 04:30 to head east to Detroit.
