CSX Train Location Updates - April 2021

D70602 had 26 cars left in its train when it went by Howell at 3:25pm. D708 following them east from Fowlerville, running around their train west of town, setting off GLC cars in the transfer and picking up cars off the siding before returning to Lansing.

D801-01 @ 3:51:38pm westward Bangor's Center St crossing mp CG60.35 with CSXT engines #586 + #989 & BNSF engines #9180 + #5731 & 129 empty coal cars. He will tie down the empty coal train on #1 Track between Paw Paw mp CG82.8 & Grey mp CG85 & then cut away the 2 CSXT engines to become the rear DPU's for N801-01 that is tied down in Riverside mp CG80.1 and bring them eastward.

Thanks for the heads up JJ, but evidently plans changed from what was supposed to be on it. D70502 by Howell at 5:01 PM, with single unit 3137 and 66 cars. Lots of Lansing cars to pick up but that may be out of the question now. D708 will be following D705 west shortly with its single unit.

N801-02 @ 8:15pm eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with "No Defects, No Defects, End of Transmission". He was traveling too slow for the HBD since he's going into Wells Siding mp CG43.3 to tie down. He has BNSF engines #5908 + #6125 & 130 loaded coal cars. There is a minimum speed requirement for the HBD's that must be met, typically between 5mph to 7mph, for it to report properly.

D705-02 @ 8:23pm westward reported by the DD mp CH126.3 with 262 axles. CSXT engine #3137 & 64 cars.

I heard her talking to the track inspector, who had just rolled in from the west, but I must have missed that part of the conversation. An afternoon 327 would definitely be a good thing considering it’s supposed to be sunny later today.

Heard conversation with another one, sounds like q327 is guessed at a 11:30am departure from GR. D706 is also guessed about 12:30pm departure from GR.
Q326 is down at Sawyer.
