Great lakes working nordry on c&o again 1450

Left Cadillac for Clare at 0950. Was told they returned at 1700.

Sb just south of shepherd. 2 units but that's all I could see in the dark 1807

A southbound mixed freight was going south through Durand at 10:37am. 382, 397, 395, and 55 cars.

A HyRailer was up here in Traverse City this morning. I saw them a little East of the depot along Parsons rd. around 10:30. Maybe because of the recent derailments they are watching for ice etc. that puts the trains on the ground.

Should be running to TC today. One centerbeam and two gons were here in Cadillac yesterday waiting to go up.

I thought I heard a horn around 9:45 this morning from downtown Kingsley. Didn’t go after it. Might try to catch it this evening on its return trip

Northern dry bulk. Maybe they dont run that dock anymore. I don't know for sure, I moved out of Clare 15 or 20 years ago.

GLC just ran past Kingsley Road's crossing. Headed back to Cadillac

Yes. Does anyone remember what year they started using that are for transload behind the old holly carburetor? When I was in high school they only used the track by seiter brothers if I remember right although once they started using the old c&o I spent a lot of time down there talking with the crews switching it.

GLC ran 395 and 398 through Kingsley at 15:25 headed towards Cadillac. It was not the same unit that went through an hour prior. They sent 2 trains up towards TC today, it seems.

Reports on Facebook of train in TC. 1 load of lumber taken up.

I’m cooped up at home with the flu, and I was trying to nap around 10:30 when I heard the crew working the funky crossing at Walton Road.

I forgot to post yesterday but there were across 127 on the Middleton district sometime on Wednesday.
