HESR 702 job inbound to Durand at 14:43 with HESR 3390/HESR 3037 f/f.

HESR 701 outbound from Durand at 15:55 with HESR 3526/HESR 3390. HESR 3037 is the new yard/Owosso local engine now.

Grand Elk 303 NB engines wasn’t seen at Hughart Yard as of 4:45pm. Drove straight pass the yard from work and saw only 2 engines for Z439 / Z739 / yard work

The building on the NW corner of the JAIL crossing on W North Street (just north of the old Jackson Prison) blew up today. One less potential customer!

MS Z627-23 @ 1:33 PM Northbound cleared Pontaluna Rd. With MMRR #2170 + #2019 & 12 cars. (11 loads + 1 empty). He had 11 tankers & 1 covered hopper. Nice-ish crew onboard today, the 8th car was a red tanker.

Grand Elk Job 303 heading southbound through Wyoming area at 7:57pm with WAMX #4189 leading and WAMX #4225 trailing. No visual on cars but I can hear their horns

Thanks for all the Grand Elk postings everybody. I just retired and moved from Ohio to near Wayland. I am a huge GDLK fan and now will have lots of time to chase the Elk. So any and all postings about train location/times are much appreciated!!
