Grand Elk went by the Elkhart cam back towards Kalamazoo at 10:53am with WAMX 4209 and WAMX 4206 with 45 cars in tow. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars a loaded center beam and two gondola cars.

GDLK 4125 and friend were in Plainwell at 6:13 p.m.. they appear to be heading northbound. No idea about the consist. They apparently were recently returned from Otsego and were crossing M89 to get the train and head north.

Others may know better, but I would guess a minimum of 2 hours, usually more. A lot will depend on whether or not they switch Wayland and Moline.

They must have rolled thru Wyoming silently thru the night cause I didn’t hear them at all.

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam towards the Elkhart yard at 9:03am with WAMX 4206 and WAMX 4189 (both facing the same direction) leading 20 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars, a loaded center beam, an empty center beam and a loaded gondola car.

Grand Elk went by Elkhart Cam heading northbound at 14:21:19 towards Kzoo with WAMX 4189 + WAMX #4206 LHF and 61 cars (solid mix of boxcars, tankers, covered hoppers and 5-6 loaded hoppers filled with coke)

Grand Elk @ 6:29pm with loud horns heard in the distance at Wyoming area. I have no visual on what engines or cars they are pulling. I would assume they are heading southbound (?)

Edit at 6:32pm, definitely sounds like they are heading southbound, I can hear the train engine vibration/noise from my house

Z151-17 @ 8:38pm reported heading northbound at Fuller Junction with MQT #3406 leading (?)

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam @11:01am heading towards the Elkhart yard with WAMX 4206 and WAMX 4189 leading 26 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars, an empty center beam and an empty bulk head car.

Heading back towards Kalamazoo @12:31pm both LHF with no cars in tow.

JAIL ran yesterday NB to Lansing. Brought three NB to CSX and took back 12 from CSX.

SB to Jackson last night.

14:50 - HESR 701 arrived in Durand with HESR 3867 (rail America scheme) and HESR 3036 (black CM paint)!

3036 will lead back to sagnasty.

Grand Elk just went by the Elkhart cam at 9:15am heading back towards Kalamazoo with WAMX 4189 and WAMX 4206 both LHF. For the second day in a row they are heading back to Kalamazoo without any cars in tow.

1:00 NB GDLK 303 mp81 Wayland. WAMX 4125 working alone today

GDLK north through Byron Center at 3:10pm, WAMX 4125 and 31ish cars. Quite a few CSX 3 bay covered hoppers in the train.
