No… I have no idea where they came from they were definitely faded and beat up one still had its old Seaboard markings.

That could be I do know that they were much larger than a normal hopper that you would see hauling aggregate or coal. They could also be cars that were used in dual service.

M327-26 @ 9:26 west reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, MI with 784 axles. CSX engine #3201 + mid dpu CSX engine #3293 (107 deep) & 193 cars (71 loads + 122 empties) @ 13,194 tons & 11,655 feet long. Thanks Pudgy for reporting the position of the DPU. These were the former coal “helpers/pushers” and 3201 was reported having water radiator issues yesterday and being sent to Chicago for repairs

Y197-26 @ 9:47 asking Dispatcher for permission to do a reverse move towards Wyoming Yard with CSX #6538 after working PCA in Grandville mp 5.2

M327-26 @ 9:52:06 west N. Center St crossing Bangor, Mi mp 60.35

Those are coke cars - see them regularly on L305 to GLC - take them to Cadillac

L301-26 westbound cleared Zeeland Michigan @ 11:08

CSX engine #8199 + 38 cars.

Note: this mornings train had cars in its consist bound for the WMI in Hartford Michigan as well as Coloma Michigan and Sawyer Michigan.

L303-26 @ 11:05 Grand Rapids job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #461 + #440 lite power? He’s ready to depart & has No work in Lansing. Job briefing for his side of the conversation was all static hiss.

M327-26 @ 11:09 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 784 axles. CSX engine #3201 + mid dpu CSX engine #3293 & 193 cars (71 loads + 22 empties) @ 13,194 tons & 11,655 feet long.

L301-26 @ 11:42 westward, Pass Track to Main Track, Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 with CSX engine #8199 & 12 cars. He has work at Hartford mp CG68.7 & Coloma mp CG76.7 & Sawyer mp CG105.2
